Confidential, culturally safe, and non-judgmental one-on-one counselling to support individuals and families navigating substance use. Our team works alongside clients to build coping strategies, enhance social and emotional wellbeing, and support lasting health goals at their own pace.
Support to access detoxification and residential rehabilitation
Dedicated casework and practical assistance for clients seeking medically supervised detox or residential rehab programs. We guide clients through referral pathways, coordinate admissions, assist with transport where eligible, and ensure continuous support before, during, and after treatment.
Individual assessment and support planning
Comprehensive, client-centred assessments designed to understand each person’s unique physical, emotional, and cultural needs. We partner with clients to develop personalized care plans, connect them with visiting specialists, and line up ongoing support across primary healthcare and community resources
The Drug and Alcohol Program provides support for individuals and families to address difficulties they are experiencing due to alcohol or other drug use.
Caseworkers provide support from offices in Inverell, Armidale, Glen Innes and Tenterfield or by outreach to all areas through visits at home or at other community venues.
Drug and Alcohol workers are also able to provide drug and alcohol information and education sessions to school and community groups on request.
