Infection Control

Armajun Aboriginal Health Service is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all clients and visitors to the service and providing a safe and healthy working environment for all staff. 

This includes reducing the risk for staff, clients, visitors and service providers from acquiring a healthcare associated or occupational infection as well as airborne infections such as influenza and COVID-19.

Staff have a responsibility to identify any potential infection risks within the service and to be familiar with and implement the relevant infection control procedures.

To help Armajun to maintain infection free facilities, clients and visitors have a responsibility to provide truthful responses to COVID screening staff prior to entry into Armajun facilities, and if requested to wear a mask.
