Matthew Trindall Appointed As CEO
On behalf of the Board, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Trindall as Chief Executive Officer of Armajun Health Service Aboriginal Corporation. Matthew will commence in the role on Monday 2 February 2026.
Matthew is a highly experienced Aboriginal health executive with more than fifteen years’ experience in senior leadership roles across complex health and community service environments. He is currently the Director Aboriginal Mental Health at the NSW Ministry of Health, with responsibility for statewide leadership, governance, funding oversight, workforce development and service performance.
Matthew brings strong executive capability in governance, financial management and securing funding, workforce leadership, risk management, policy development and organisational performance. He has extensive experience working with Boards and executive teams and leading large-scale programs supporting Aboriginal communities.
Matthew holds a Masters of Indigenous Health, a Bachelor of Health Science in Mental Health, a Bachelor of Indigenous Studies, a Diploma of Leadership and Management, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Matthew’s executive practice is grounded in accountability and cultural integrity, with a strong focus on effective systems, workforce capability and community led decision making.
The Board is confident Matthew will provide strong and values driven executive leadership as Armajun continues to strengthen its services for community.
We also advise that advertising for the Deputy Chief Executive Officer role will commence in early January 2026 as part of strengthening our executive leadership structure.
